Michael Horton, the president of the Los Angeles Final Cut Pro User Group (LAFCPUG) and one of the chief organizers of the upcoming Final Cut Pro User Group SuperMeet at the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) show in Las Vegas discusses the next iteration of the, “largest gathering of FCP Gurus and users on the Planet.”
This will be 6th SuperMeet at NAB and Mike talks about what they have learned from doing the first five as well as other highly successful SuperMeets at Macworld Expo. The challenges of a large trade show and the benefits of the SuperMeet are discussed, as well as the features of this year’s event, including special guest speaker Walter Murch, a feedback with the Final Cut Studio development team from Apple, exclusive appearances by many vendors who won’t be anywhere else at NAB and the ever-popular raffle.
Mike also covers the upcoming visit to LAFCUPG by Adobe, the day after the newest edition of the Adobe Creative Suite is unveiled, and why the makers of something other than FCP are always welcome at his group.
