Guy Kawasaki, best know for being an evangelist for both Apple and Canva, as well as a prolific business book author, has released Everybody Has Something to Hide: Why and How to Use Signal to Preserve Your Privacy, Security, and Well-Being. It is free for a very limited time as a Kindle book (no, you don’t have to have a Kindle to read it on the web), and it will be $4.04 after the free time period.
Guy explained why he wrote this book and covered some of the basic privacy reasons that you should take into account when considering making Signal your default messaging app in an interview on the Amber Mac Show (watch on YouTube).
Apple has a history of being at or near the top of the heap when it comes to privacy, but Guy educates us as to some reasons even their efforts aren’t sufficient if you are truly concerned about what can be learned from your messaging content and habits, or even if you’re just looking for a more robust messaging experience.
Grab the book and listen to the interview. It is well worth the time.
