A MacVoices Group Update – Where You Can See Chuck at Macworld 2011

Jan 25, 2011 | Macworld 2011, Macworld Expo

The Road to Macworld is finally coming to an end…at the front door of Moscone West and at the start of Macworld 2011.

If you’re in San Francisco for the show, I hope you’ll stop by any or all of the sessions I’m participating in and say hello. The schedule includes:

  • Thursday at 5:15 PM – On the Macworld Live Stage on the show floor with other members of The Mac Roundtable. I’ll be acting as the host, so you’ll want to join us to see if I can keep Allison in line.
  • Friday at 12:00 PM – On the Macworld Live Stage for a panel discussion about “Parenting in the Age of the Internet.” This will be a terrific discussion for those who are trying to work through issues such as social network use, gaming, texting, and everything else our connected world has brought us. With kids and tech, what is too much…or not enough? We’ll explore those issues and more with a panel of technologist parents, including:

Tonya EngstTidBITS and Take Control Books maven
Omaha Sternberg – The force behind iGame Radio
Christopher BreenMacworld Senior Editor
Chuck La Tournois – The founder of RandomMaccess and contributor to The Mac Observer

  • Saturday at 10:30 AM – In the Drobo Booth, #453 doing a meet-and-greet with fans and friends, and talking about why I own three different Drobo models.

The rest of the show? I’ll be on the exhibit floor as much as possible taping interviews with exhibitors and Mac luminaries, attending some of the conference sessions and in general getting as much out of Macworld as possible. And of course, don’t forget the Final Cut Pro SuperMeet on Friday, and the parties every night.

I want to thank my sponsors, Drobo, Smile and Rogue Amoeba for their support and for making MacVoicesTV at Macworld possible.

If you can’t make it to San Francisco, fear not: I’ll be recording plenty of interviews to help you feel like you were there.

Hope to see you this week, and in the future on MacVoices, MacVoicesTV, MacNotables and The MacJury.
