He discusses the software’s integration with Mac’s native applications and highlight its various uses, and will shares insights and tips to help others maximize Ecamm Live’s potential.
The Road to Macstock Conference and Expo takes us to a conversation with someone we always learn from, Mike Schmitz of Practical PKM. Mike discusses his workshop that will focus on personal knowledge management, intentional living, and journaling for personal growth. He emphasizes translating complex concepts into practical applications, using vision and values for guidance, and the benefits of journaling with tools like Apple’s Journal app. Transitioning to his Macstock presentation, Mike explores mind mapping for idea development and organization, highlighting its use in creative workflows, and stresses the importance of finding tools that suit individual preferences.

This Road to Macstock Conference and Expo session features another speaker who is not only presenting on the conference stage, but is also delivering one of the Friday workshops. Marty Jencius of the Vision ProFiles podcast discusses his workshop on AI, focusing on practical applications for enhancing work productivity. He emphasizes hands-on learning and aims to provide attendees with three “wow” moments using AI tools. His conference session, in contrast, will focus on helping others find their own answers and solve their own problems through accessing the many resources the web offers. Marty invites individuals of all skill levels to join the passionate tech community at Macstock for learning, networking, and exploring new technologies.
Next up onThe Road to Macstock Conference and Expo is a conversation with Kirschen Seah of Free Range Coder about her presentation that will focus on taking your home automation to the next level. How standards like Matter and Thread are improving compatibility with the smart home device universe will be a key aspect of the talk, along with integrating new smart home tools.
Jill McKinley joins The Road to Macstock Conference and Expo for the second time. Last year she brought a stick. This year, she will focus on the versatility of Notion beyond being “just” a database tool. Jill highlights its project management and productivity features and talks about how she uses it for task management, note-taking, and data organization across devices.
Another brand new stop on The Road to Macstock Conference and Expo is a conversation with Michael D.J. Eisenberg, The Tech-Savvy Lawyer. Michael discusses about how he became a dedicated Mac user, and how his talk will on insights into using artificial intelligence for automation tools like Hazel, AppleScript, TextExpander, and Microsoft Word. He also offers a tip or two from another passion: coffee.
Chuck Joiner, David Ginsburg, Marty Jencius, Jeff Gamet, Web Bixby, and Brian Flanigan-Arthurs take a MacVoices Live! look at a fabricated interview that had Sony apologizing and Ticketmaster’s data breach that they seem to be silent on. David previews his presentation on Apple services, covering Apple One, iCloud, Apple TV+, Apple Music, Apple News, Apple Arcade, Apple Card, and Apple Care, to name more than a few. He outlines Apple services from various perspectives and tease surprises for the event to engage the audience. The importance of services for Apple from the business perspective and the evolution of their offerings are also part of the discussion.
Our next stop on The Road to Macstock Conference and Expo is a conversation with Dave Hamilton of Mac Geek Gab. Dave will be giving attendees a look behind the curtain at his podcast workflow emphasizing efficiency and leveraging technology for productivity.
