MacNotables #714: Christopher Breen on the Changes in iTunes 7.1

Mar 15, 2007 | MacNotables

Christopher Breen
Apple has updated iTunes to version 7.1 in anticipation of the Apple TV release, but that’s not all that’s new. Christopher Breen has done his usual thorough job of examining all the changes and he takes us through the new sorting capabilities, enhanced cover flow navigation and more. Chuck and Chris also discuss large iTunes libraries, exporting your iTunes information to use in external applications, and ways to protect yourself when upgrading iTunes. Cover art utilities, backing up and a challenge to programmers to develop a very special utility for the MacBook and MacBook Pro round out the show. If you have a four terabyte music library, we’re talking to you.
