MacNotables panelists Adam and Tonya Engst and Andy Ihnatko join host Chuck Joiner to deliver their initial impressions of the announcements at Apple’s August 7 Media Event.
The team discusses why the new iMac isn’t that much different and debate whether or not Blu-Ray drives would have made sense from both a video and data perspective. iPhoto expectations are high with this group, and they point out some of the things that have been addressed and others that they still want to see. iMovie’s new, “Just Give Me The Movie” feature, thoughts on iWeb, some significant improvements in pages and a discussion of Numbers, the new Apple spreadsheet entry are all included in the first of a two-part show.
