The next The Final Cut Pro SuperMeet, this time in Boston, is rapidly approaching, and Daniel Berube and Michael Horton are back to talk about what this gathering of digital video gurus will offer. On the program are presentations for all levels of video producers, enthusiast and pro alike, including a Thunderbolt demo with a video production slant, a raffle that is huge, even by FCP SuperMeet standards, and the highlight of the show, a presentation by editing superstar and Oscar winner Walter Murch. First, though, Dan and Mike provide their perspective on Final Cut Pro X, the launch of the product, where it is, where it is going, and their thoughts on the future of Apple’s non-linear editing program.
