MacVoices #14194: Greg Scown of Smile Introduces TextExpander touch 3

Sep 16, 2014 | Business, Commentary, Developer, iOS, iPad, Productivity, Software

Chuck Joiner, Greg Scown

Greg Scown  gives us a look at the brand new, available-any-second-now TextExpander touch 3, the latest edition to the iOS version of their text expansion utility. Greg covers the history of the utility and the work-arounds they have had to implement to keep it running. But that is indeed history; TextExpander touch 3 now operates within supported parameters of iOS 8. That means that its brand new keyboard gives you access to your TextExpander snippets in every iOS app. With their Dropbox syncing, you can share your snippets back and forth with your Mac and all your iOS devices. Greg discusses it all, along with some other enhancements to the keyboard function itself, making TextExpander touch 3 a must-have utility when you upgrade to iOS 8.
