At NAB in Las Vegas, one of the most intriguing demos we saw was by Showy. Even though in an alpha phase at the moment, Showy puts you on a virtual studio set using just a little chroma key, your webcam and your browser. Brett Gordeau and Chris Mapes explain their vision for Showy, then give us a demo that shows how they support drop zones and even 3D backgrounds, along with any type of set you can imagine. Even on an imperfect NAB show floor, the results are impressive. We can’t wait for the beta.
This edition of MacVoices is supported by Macstock Conference & Expo and the Midwest Mac BBQ, coming to Woodstock IL on July 16 and 17.
