MacVoices #17121: Scholle McFarland Takes Control of Apple’s Calendar and Reminders

May 17, 2017 | Apple Watch, Author, iOS, iPad, iPhone, Productivity, Software, Take Control

Chuck Joiner, Scholle McFarland

Scholle McFarland and Take Control Books have released a brand new title, Take Control of Calendar and Reminders, to help you use those two productivity apps that come standard and free from Apple. Scholle gets in depth on features you might already be using at some level, and also features that you may have forgotten about. One thing that makes these two applications interesting is that they are useful on the Mac, iOS devices, and the Apple Watch. Scholle has them all covered, talks about how Siri is useful on all three platforms, and why troubleshooting found a place in the book.

Scholle McFarland  has been covering the Mac since 1996 as an editor at MacUser magazine and then Macworld. During that time, she witnessed Apple transform from everyone’s favorite “doomed†company to everyone’s actually favorite company and is still amazed by the whole thing. When she’s not working as a freelance writer and editor, Scholle (“Sholly†) likes to hang out with her family, friends, and many animals in beautiful Portland, Oregon. You can follow her on Twitter.
