Author and digital photographer Mikkel Aaland took a group of his friends to Iceland and the result was Photoshop Lightroom Adventure: Mastering Adobe’s Next-Generation Tool for Digital Photographers. Mikkel talks about his unusual approach to Adobe’s digital photo manipulation software and how it yielded a book that both instructs and inspires. How the team provided feedback to Adobe while in Iceland, and got new beta copies of Lightroom in return, how a carload of models became part of the project and some thoughts on his other new book, Photoshop CS3 Raw: Get the Most Out of the Raw Format with Adobe Photoshop, Camera Raw, and Bridge are all included in this informal discussion.
Mikkel will be presenting in the O’Reilly booth at Macworld Expo, and tells listeners what they’ll learn when they attend his session on Wednesday afternoon, January 16.
