On The Road to Macworld, Newer Technology‘s Grant Dahlke talks about the products that they’ll be showing at in San Francisco. At the top of their list is the Voyager, a drive dock that supports USB 2.0, FireWire 400 and 800 and eSATA connections. Grant explains Voyager’s support of both 2.5 and 3.5 bare drives and how this new option for storage requires a re-thinking of hard drives from both a price and durability standpoint. An ideal option for digital photographers, videographers or anyone who is archiving large volumes of data, Voyager has already earned notice by the NBA. Grant also talks about NewCube, their latest option to make your Mac mini look even better in your living room, the MAXPower 802.11g/b Wireless USB 2.0 Stick Adapter that upgrades older Macs to 802.11n wireless speeds, as well as some of their popular existing products.
The Road to Macworld Expo is a special MacVoices series produced in partnership with Macworld Conference & Expo to preview some of the exhibitors, speakers and presentations at Macworld Conference & Expo 2009 in San Francisco from January 5-9 at the Moscone Convention Center.
