MacVoices #9111: A Different Look at 1,000 Issues of TidBITS From A Panel of Contributors

Oct 27, 2009 | Publisher, Web | 1 comment

TidBITS recently celebrated their 1,000 issue, and we recognized the achievement with a two-part interview of Adam and Tonya Engst on MacNotables. Now, we hear about the success story of the longest-running tech publication on the web through different voices: those of some of the key contributors to TidBITS history. The panel discuss the birth of TidBITS, before anyone knew there was an internet, some of the surprising ways they became associated with TidBITS and more. They reveal the TidBITS approach to journalism, where subject, length or lead time are all focused on delivering quality information, how TidBITS has moved into the 21st century without compromising their identity, and much more.
