In a wide-ranging conversation, publisher and Editor-in-Chief of MacTech magazine, Neil Ticktin, talks about their acquisition of MacMod.com, where modding fits in the Mac community, and why there probably won’t be many iPhone hardware mods. Neil also starts the celebration of MacTech’s 25th anniversary, and reveals why they aren’t feeling the pain many other print publications are. You’ll be surprised to hear that their readers want *more* ads, that Neil still believes that print is a superior delivery medium (and he can back it up), and what Neil thinks of the challenges of integrating technology into the educational system.
