Tim Westergren

Tim Westergren, the founder of Pandora, updates us on the most recent developments in the struggle over Internet broadcaster royalties and the Internet Radio Equality Act. While it isn’t time to celebrate just yet, Tim explains how the pressure brought by members of the listener, internet broadcasting and web communities on the United States Congress has resulted in a more level playing field for negotiations on the issue. Tim encourages continued awareness of the situation in the event that additional grass-roots action is needed to achieve an equitable resolution.
